Overview

Minimal New Tab Home is a Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a customizable home page. This policy explains how the extension handles data.

Data we do NOT collect

This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No data is sent to any external server.
• No analytics or tracking of any kind is used.
• No personal information is ever stored outside your device.

Data stored locally on your device

All extension data — including your settings, shortcuts, and any images you choose to use — is stored exclusively on your own device using standard browser storage (localStorage and IndexedDB). This data never leaves your device and is fully under your control. You can clear it at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser data.

Third-party services

When you add a shortcut tile and choose to auto-fetch a favicon, the extension may request an icon image from Google's public favicon service (https://www.google.com/s2/favicons). This is a standard public API call initiated at your request and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are contacted.
